This week my entry for Cee’s Odd Ball Challenge is courtesy of my recent visit to Colchester Zoo, walking well wheeling around the otter and flamingo enclosures I was drawn not to the animals (who were beautiful and did get photographed) but to the way some of the trees had wrapped there way through and around the walkway fencing. It must have happened over many years and to me just goes to show that if the will or desire is strong enough you can survive and get through or round or over anything. I guess it spoke to me as I have a strong will to carry on regardless of my pain and disability. It isn’t always easy, and there are days I don’t feel like I’m winning but life goes on, even around a man made obstacle.
Courtesy of crabbing in Walberswick I present for Cee’s odd ball challenge three images taken, one was my first photo of the day, even before taking one of my family or nieces, it was the quirky anchor shaped key holder inside the door of my brother’s holiday cottage that just begged me to take it’s photo, one of the crab salad I had for dinner, I don’t do food photo’s often but having been crabbing it was so vibrant, and my preferred entry which is looking down on to the top of a wooden sea defence groyne and the beauty of how the grains of sand had blown across the tops to create the patterns, just screamed photo me, photo me. My camera battery had been used up so this image was captured on my Sony Ericsson smart phone.
This week whilst sat outside watching my LG on her new slide and taking some photos I noticed that our garden statue has weathered well in recent years and looked well, see for yourself, I found myself taking the photos and editing them and at the time thinking why. I guess these challenges are slowly imprinting themselves into my mind………………
My entry to Week 27 of Cee’s Odd Ball Challenge happens to be a photo I took this Wednesday. I was over a park with my family and randomly positioned in between all the different pieces of play equipment was this, I was looking around as my LG played the BFG or it could have been Peter Pan and Captain Hook when I saw this. I hope you now can see why I was STUMPED
An odd ball challenge, what can one say they do not get much odder than me and my family 😛 (I’m safe writing this as they all read the blogs and will agree with me). The thing is I take pictures of so many random things that I could probably submit more in this challenge than any other; two of my most recent favourites came from a day trip to good ol’ Great Yarmouth where once again the English weather played tricks on us, so here’s my two photos for Cee’s Week 26 odd ball challenge.
The first is a seagull coming in to land on a light on the sea front.
The second was on the way home we driving into dark skies and rain and from the wing mirror behind I could see lovely blue skies, so with the droplets of rain on the wing mirror this oddball
